About Us

Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts aims to give professional tuition to students in as many performing arts areas as possible.

We offer classes to all ages from babies (8 weeks) to adults, and have the North East’s widest range of classes in:

• Dance
• Drama
• Musical Theatre
• Singing
• Music
• Gymnastics
• Infant Massage

We are specialists in pre-school performing arts education and we are the home of Mac the Monkey Pre-School Performing Arts Academy with many classes taking place in the AAPA studios.

Examinations are possible in nearly every subject through our exam boards BATD, IDTA, Trinity Guildhall.

We run our own Acrobatic Gymnastics internal assessment scheme and internally assess the Melody Bear Dance Classes and Mac the Monkey Performing Arts Academy Classes.

Enrolling in classes couldn’t be easier. Just email us for a timetable and let us know which class you wish to attend. Our office staff will advise if we have a waiting list or when the next appropriate start date would be.
